L’Acadèmia sueca acaba d’anunciar que l’escriptora Herta Müller ha estat guardonada amb el Premi Nobel de Literatura 2009:

“… who, with the concentration of poetry and the frankness of prose, depicts the landscape of the dispossessed”.

A la nostra biblioteca tenim un sol llibre seu; es tracta d’una traducció de l’alemany a l’anglès de la novel·la Herztier: The Land of green plums (New York : Metropolitan Books, 1996).
